iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT), a leader in delivering robotic technology-based solutions, announced today that Russell J. Campanello will join the company as senior vice president of human resources. In this role, Campanello will be responsible for developing the company's human resources strategy and implementing practices that maintain and enhance the company's ability to attract and develop the talent necessary to support future growth.

Campanello brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership in the high-technology sector to iRobot. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of human resources and administration at Phase Forward, Inc., a leading provider of integrated data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety. Previously, Campanello held senior management positions at Keane, Inc. and NerveWire, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts. Campanello has been honored with a Stevie Award for Human Resources Executive of the Year and has been named to HR Magazine's prestigious "50 for History" list, which recognizes outstanding individuals for their significant and lasting impact on human resource management.
