NEW YORK, NY – December 1, 2005 – Good Housekeeping, one of the country's largest and most-trusted magazines, today named iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT) Co-founder and Chairman Helen Greiner "Entrepreneur of the Year." Greiner accepted the award at Good Housekeeping's 11th annual "Good Buy" Awards Ceremony, which honors groundbreaking technology and innovation in helping make consumers’ lives easier.
Greiner was selected for her leadership role at iRobot, and in recognition of the company’s innovative iRobot Roomba® Vacuuming Robot, which has been awarded the coveted Good Housekeeping Seal. The magazine called out Roomba as a unique and successful product that solves a common household problem related to family and women. iRobot has sold more than 1.5 million Roomba Vacuuming Robots since its introduction in 2002.
