Explanation of Responses:
1. Consists of restricted stock unit awards made pursuant to the iRobot Corporation 2005 Stock Option and Incentive Plan. 30,000 restricted stock units vest over a four-year period, at a rate of twenty-five percent (25%) on each anniversary of the grant date (December 7, 2012). 11,825 restricted stock units vest over a four-year period, at a rate of twenty-five percent (25%) on each anniversary of the grant date (March 8, 2013). Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person as soon as practicable following each vesting date, but in no event later than 30 days after each such vesting date.
2. This option vests over a four-year period at a rate of 25% on the date listed in the table, and in equal quarterly installments thereafter.
3. This option vests over a four-year period at a rate of 25% on the date listed in the table, and in equal quarterly installments thereafter.
4. This option vests at a rate of 147 shares on the date listed in the table, and in equal monthly installments over the remaining 25 months.
5. This option vests at a rate of 620 shares on the date listed in the table, and in equal monthly installments over the remaining 43 months.

undersigned's capacities, any and all statements on Forms 3, 4 and 5 with
respect to the undersigned's holdings of and transactions in securities issued
by iRobot Corporation (the "Company") in accordance with Sections 16(a) of the
Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), and any and
all regulations promulgated thereunder, and to file the same, with all exhibits
thereto, and any other documents in connection therewith, with the Securities
and Exchange Commission, and with any other entity when and if such is mandated
by the Exchange Act or by the By-laws of the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority, granting unto said attorney-in-fact and agent full power and
authority to do and perform each and every act and thing requisite and necessary
fully to all intents and purposes as the undersigned might or could do in person
