iRobot Running Android Applications to Power Its Ava(TM) Mobile Robotics
Platform

BEDFORD, Mass., May 11, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT) announced that it has teamed with Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) to create Android applications for the iRobot Ava(TM) mobile robotics platform. These applications are being demonstrated at the Google I/O Developer Conference in San Francisco, Calif.

iRobot Ava is a breakthrough mobile robotics platform developed to help robot designers, application developers and market innovation specialists expedite the pursuit of practical, affordable mobile robotic solutions. It is designed to work with a pad-based interface.
